I strive to cultivate a psychiatric space that is fundamentally curious about what has been pathologized. I welcome your mess and brilliance, which we often locate inside experiences that get called anxiety, ADHD, OCD, depression, or panic.
My patients often express that they have never worked with a provider who invites them to really express, to be known for more than their symptoms.
I bring tools that I have honed through my formal studies and my own healing process. A central part of my role as your provider is to earn the trust of the parts of you that are hiding, who want to feel free again.
There are endless experiences that shape our sense of safety within our minds and bodies, our families, and the greater context of the world. In this work we explore where you feel stagnant, repressed, or disorganized.
With therapy, medication and behavioral strategies, we invite you into a new shape - one that has capacity to hold you in the life you envision for yourself.

I am the child of a prosecutor and a psychologist. I was raised by white upper middle class straight parents with flipped gender roles. My mom worked as a prosecutor serving survivors of sexual abuse and victims of murder. My dad taught graduate students in special education and was our primary caregiver. I grew up watching my parents offer all that they could toward repair within broken institutions. Through this shaping, I come humbled to the site of the body.
Living as a human animal in a world of extractive systems creates stress. Tightening, bracing. I listen to the tissues and electrical currents that learned tension meant survival, and bring them to orient in current time.
I offer mechanical support (contact, movement, pressure) to relieve tension states in the nerves, fascia, and muscles, as you bring breath and resource to the emotional landscape.
I will celebrate with you when you feel relief from pain! And when your practice of body scanning allows safety in a moment of alarm.
As partners in life, parenting, and work, we ground this clinic in our own practice as much as we’re able. We grow food and flowers because it shows us over and over again the improbable resilience and beauty of life. We lay ourselves on the earth because it is the least and most we can do.
Bless the good ground for holding us up and all the ones who came before who made a way through. Bless our children for all that they remind and expand in us, and for making necessary magic so possible.
