Somatic care for queer and Trans people

At Tended Root, our work acknowledges both the collective grief and systemic barriers queer and Trans people face, as well as the joy and resilience of their being. We believe the anxiety, pain, and overwhelm often experienced in these times are responses appropriate to the stressors, and not reflective of who you are.

We weave together integrative psychiatry, somatic therapy + bodywork to meet this complexity.

About us

Integrative Psychiatry

We offer collaborative, queer-celebratory psychiatric care that honors both mind and body. Whether you are seeking medication support or not, the focus is always on balance, agency, and your full ecology of healing. Together, we explore the connections between your nervous system, relationships, and daily rhythms to support lasting change.

We specialize in

Depression / Grief / Loss
Anxiety / Panic / Overwhelm
Trauma / PTSD
ADHD
Life transitions
Perinatal care

Our sessions invite you to ground into your body’s innate knowing, through touch, movement, and breath. The work is somatic, precise, and sometimes playful, helping your system reorganize around safety and vitality. We move slowly, listening for what your body already knows about healing and balance.

Somatic Therapy + Bodywork

Together, we explore what balance means for you: supporting the brain, tending the body, and strengthening the parts of you that already know how to heal. Whether you’re seeking stability, safety, or more ease in daily life, our care celebrates your identity and honors your becoming.

As trans practitioners, it is our joy to celebrate and support queer and Trans people on their healing journeys.
